The quote perfectly frames the sound Johanna Linnea Jakobsson's debut album "Alone Together". With lyrical saxophone playing and spellbinding vocals she released her debut alum in june 2022 which received praise from several jazz critics in Scandinavia and Europe. The album was also named one of the best vocal albums of 2022 by the prestigious Japanese magazine Jazz Hihyo.

In November 2023 she released the EP "Some Other Time" which features some of her personal favourites from the jazz standard repertoire. Other recent projects include composing the music for the Danish TV-show "One Of The Boys" which premiered on Viaplay in May 2023 together with the release of an EP with the same name.
